The Chairman's Reserve Master's Selection (Cigar Shops) is a limited-edition rum from Saint Lucia Distillers, distilled in 2010 and aged for 11 years. Made from molasses using a John Dore Pot Still, this rum is bottled at cask strength (59% ABV). Its aromatic profile features intense notes of leather, smoke, and vanilla. The palate reveals robust flavors of oak, pineapple, and barrel, accented by hints of tar. Despite its complex sweetness and modest bitterness, some users find it slightly lacking in complexity. With only 276 bottles released, it's a collectable for rum enthusiasts. Compared to other Chairman's rather of the light variety. But very pleasant. Only slightly bitter and sweetish at the same time.
Nice chairman with pronounced sweetness, but lacks some complexity. Still a great sipper...
Nose: leather, smoke, pineapple, vanilla Palate: pineapple, oak, vanilla Finish is also smokey It is a bit on the sweet side.
Bit alcohol balanced, but still very enjoyable rum. Sweetness is the most powerful note, some details are missing.
