"The nose is full of darker vegetal notes; tobacco and black tea. Some sweetness but it in the background. The faintest whiff of banana. The palate keeps the tobacco and tea but adds the prickle of black pepper. It's very warming. Similar to Whiskey. The finish is quite long. The same tea and pepper from the palate but does fade to dark fudge note right at the end. Overall, I'm not a fan. The wood and tea note are too prominent and it's too similar to Whiskey. Something I l'm finding in a lot of the wooden still rums from Guyana."
