With only 400 bottles produced, this rum showcases a complex profile featuring fruity, herbal, and dried fruit aromas, paired with peppery, herbal, and caramel notes on the palate. Schöner Rum. An der Nase viel süßlicher Klebstoff, dahinter Früchte wie Pfirsich und trockene pflanzliche Noten. Am Gaumen eine schöne Süße und insgesamt ähnlich wie an der Nase. Trockener im Abgang. Recht süffig und gleichzeitig komplex.
Nase: Sehr würzig und herb, Tabak, Trockenfrüchte, Holz Mund: deutliche Alkoholnote zum Auftakt, dann wohlig warm Schoko, Frucht, Tabak, Gummi Abgang: würzig, Tabak, Holz markant Profil Richtung Caroni, dreckig, würzig, komplex, definitiv ein spannender Rum.
Ein guter Chairman mit typischen Profil, der sich gut für Rumtrinker eignet, die sich von Einsteigerrums entfernen wollen. Vor allem weil die Prozente eher reduziert sind, hat dieser Rum keine überwältigende Trockenheit und Schärfe am Gaumen wie manch anderer Chairman. Sicherlich besser als die Standardabfüllungen dieser Distillerie.
