“On The Rocks: On the nose you get some alcohol and sherry notes with some underlying slight bitterness. Taste reveals an initial sherry sweetness that evolves into a slight bitterness. Finish continues the sherry flavour that fades into a mild oak. This is a very unique rum that is enjoyable with 2 clear stages of flavour. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose mild oak with hints of sherry. Taste is largely washed out with mild sherry and oak notes. Finish is very short with no real flavours. This is not a good rum for mixing as you lose all the important flavours.”
