“This is a cheap Caroni and a brilliant example that you get what you pay for. All the typical Caroni notes of rubber and tar are missing. This is not a bad rum, but in my mind not a Caroni. The nose is thin with light wood, vanilla and some nuts. The is a light roasted note with dried fruit and a faint earthy note. The palate is diluted/thin withe lightly roasted wood, dried fruit, vanilla and a hint of cocoa. Tha finish is medium with light roasted wood, vanilla and raisins. Price to quality is pretty good but it's not a Caroni :-)”

“Definitiv der beste Mezan den ich bisher im Glas hatte. Trotz der nur 40% immer noch komplex und aromenreich. Im Mund deutlich fruchtiger als in der Nase, aber eher würzig-fruchtig und etwas holzig als süß.”
