Bought this bottle to a very good price from Catawiki. This Damoiseau 10yo rum is a blend of rums from the Bellevue distillery in Moule on the island of Grande-Terre in Guadeloupe. It have spent a minimum of 10 years in ex-Bourbon oak barrels with a capacity of 190 liters. The finish is quite long and the tastes are prolonged. As a summary a great and elegant rum.
Finde ich sehr spannend! Für mich nicht der klassische Damoiseau, zu wenig gelagert, geht fast in richtig Galion mit einem fruchtigen Ester-Anteil.
Ungewöhnlich rauchig für einen agricole. Erinnert mich eher an st. Lucia der John Dore Still. Insgesamt aber stimmig und rund, nur eben nicht wirklich was ich bei einem agricole suche. Ein paar % mehr hätten sicherlich auch nicht geschadet. PLV finde ich hier eher schwach mit 100€ für einen verdünnten agricole.
