#4495 03-04.11.2023 Den Danske Whiskyfestival. Again a special meet up besides the event itself because we think it's a bit too dull. Had a great time with friends again. My notes. Nose: balanced, wood, tar, rubber, roasted, raisin. Palate: warm, wood, rubber, tar, medicinal, dried fruit, light smoke. Finish: long and warm, tar, rubber, wood, smoke, raisin. Empty glass has light vanilla and caramel notes.
Second tasting: dirty rum, woody, tar, pharmacy, liquorice. Effects felt on the nose as well as on the palate. Very good length, which will carry me through to my next evening meal. A wonderful experience, a Caroni as I expected it to be.
