Very shy on the nose to me, and a nice difference in taste compared to the usual stuff I taste. It is just difficult to distinguish specific notes, due to lack of experience with french rum. Can't wait for more Agricole!

This one was a huge surprise. Only 6 years old and the packed with flavours. Oak and fruits from nose to finish. A really well made XO. Price to quality is very good I'd say.

Im Vergleich zu anderen Martinque's XO ist dieser weniger fruchtig und eindeutig auf der herben, erdigen Seite mit Leder und Rauch, aber auch ein bisschen Karamell. Im Mund typisch trocken und würzig. Zu trocken für mich, muss man mögen. Gut finde ich den Honig und Kaffee im Abgang.

Le nez est équilibré. Les notes fruitées, épicées et boisées se répondent harmonieusement. La bouche est toujours boisée, et gourmande. La finale est encore boisée, et végétale. On retrouve des notes de bourbon.

Au nez on sent le boisé comme les autres Clément que j’ai pu goûter, mais aussi de la vanille et d’autres arômes sucrés et épicées, il est invitant, il y a aussi des fruits mais c’est pas non plus un nez de fou pour l’instant. Première bouche bonne surprise, l’alcool est bien présent mais il renforce une certaine fraîcheur épicée, il est assez gras finalement, fruité, le bois n’écrase pas tout. Il est assez costaud et incisif pour seulement 42°, mais chaud, boisé, il y a vraiment plusieurs goûts qui se succèdent en bouche. On ne sent pas vraiment la canne fraîche. La finale est comme un agrico
