“Very shy on the nose to me, and a nice difference in taste compared to the usual stuff I taste. It is just difficult to distinguish specific notes, due to lack of experience with french rum. Can't wait for more Agricole!”

“Compared to other Martinque's XO, this one is less fruity and clearly on the tart, earthy side with leather and smoke, but also a bit of caramel. In the mouth typically dry and spicy. Too dry for me, you have to like. Good I find the honey and coffee in the finish.”
