The "Jamaica 12" was produced in Jamaica at the Clarendon distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Ekte Rum. It was distilled in 2004 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 12 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 63,6%. "#5306 09.05.2025 Tasted at our local tasting with Hannes from Whisky Watcher. Nose Intense, light wood, fruity, overripe, light mint, light rubber, polish, ester, light citrus. Palate Medium intense, fresh, light wood, fruity, overripe, banana, light clove, polish, light ester, light citrus. Finish Long and warm, light wood, light ester, light citrus, faint glue, light nutts. Needs to rest for a while to really open up."
