To Clarendon
Wow, my expectations were too high. Certainly not a bad rum, but to me it seems more like a light, herbal Guyana with pencil shavings. You really aren't immune to surprises with Clarendon, there are positive and negative outliers. Unfortunately, this rum and I will not become friends - even if it is a real rarity. Nevertheless, many thanks to Kevin for the sample!
A nice release from a bygone bottler from Denmark. Intense and lightly dry with nice fruits and spice. Warm on the palate and finish. The empty glass is really nice and I can pick up some cinnamon.
