"This limited rum from Carrere/Montebello is the second batch of the 2010 Montebello 10-year Brut de Fût. It’s first aged for 7 years in ex-bourbon American oak barrels and then for 3 more years in former Cognac barrels. Thereafter it’s bottled in 2021 in 2000 bottles. The nose is fruity, spicy and woody with scents of citrus, vanilla, licorice, anise and a hint of bourbon. At the palate it’s rich, woody, spicy and sweet with flavors of bourbon, licorice and pepper. The finish is medium long, woody and spicy with flavors of pepper and licorice."
"Un joli nez plein de fruits, sur les épices et le caramel. Une bouche sur les épices, la noix, les fruits rouges. Belle bouteille, note en dessous de 80 car manque de watts pour moi."
