How does this rum taste?
- Alkohol sehr gut eingebunden
- angenehme Süße
- well balanced, bit flat, sweety, bitter
Foursquare fans will find themselves on familiar ground here—coconut, vanilla, caramel, and sweet dried fruits lead the way, with a bit of spice and oak rounding things out. It’s been called a “klassischer, aber sehr guter Foursquare” by Basti, while Dr.Django notes the “dominanten Vanille, Kokosnuss und Karamell Aromen.” Most agree the alcohol kicks but is generally “sehr gut eingebunden” (well integrated); though, some like Chrischi78 find it among the “kräftigste und kantigste.” A hint of red fruit keeps things lively, letting this cask strength bottling stand out in a lineup of familiar Bajan rums.

To Foursquare
"Tasted together with RX12304 and RX18937. With a similar ABV, the strongest and edgiest with a typical Foursquare profile. Compared to the others, the alcohol is the least well integrated. 3rd place"
"Very good Foursquare with borderline alcohol and a column that stands out a little too much for me personally."
"For me a classic, but very good Foursquare. It has everything you would expect. Coconut, spices, dried fruit and a pleasant sweetness. Alcohol very well integrated. I like it very much."
"Very fruity on the nose with some wood and caramel. There is little "floral" on the palate; however, the taste is convincing with different spices, caramel and a light barrel note. The finish is similar and really long-lasting. The alcohol is quite dominant due to its strength, but I personally like this strength. The rum would certainly have developed even more positively with longer storage."
