Papa Rouyo Eritaj (Batch 1) 2021
Most enjoy the fruity, floral nose and clean agricole character; critics find the palate flat, young and overpriced. Consensus: a well-made, interesting but not essential, early-age agricole.
Curious explorers who want a dry, youthful Guadeloupe agricole with fruity/floral nose and straightforward woody palate, and who value terroir-driven, unsweetened rum over big complexity.

How does this rum taste?
Nice nose, simple young agricole
If you’re starting to enjoy agricoles and like dry, fruity profiles at around 50%, this is a nice tester—but go in knowing it’s young, simple and priced like a more serious rum.
Beginners wanting soft sweetness, or value seekers expecting depth and age for the price; also not ideal for those sensitive to 50% ABV sharpness.

Well done, pleasant
Soft and without body. It's not bad, but far too expensive for what it is (-1 on the score for the very unfavorable quality/price ratio), it's not worth half the price. In this age bracket, the Bondieu a1710 is far superior.
Beautiful ESB, perfect blend of cane and wood all in a single barrel. A job well done!
Tasty and mild. But not an absolute highlight and somehow a bit boring and hardly any body and complexity.... For the price in particular, I would have expected more here. It's still very young...
