We had a nice 60's tasting yesterday and we were lucky my 1965 Dillon arrived just in time. 1965 is my birth year and I've been on the lookout for a bottle from that year. This was the starter rum and it was pretty good. Tasting old rums is always exciting because I think you get an honest array of flavours before technology was added. A very light and dry rum, but the balance was there between the fruit, spices and wood.
