"Dégustation des 8 marks Hampden et regoûté une année après. Le nez le plus expressif, un peu alcooleux mais avec du végétal et de l’amertume. L’entrée de bouche est un peu heurtée mais devient très vite délicieuse. C’est la plus complexe de la série. La finale très longue semble confirmer que plus les esters sont hauts, plus la finale s’allonge. Le verre vide a des légers relents de boisé/ fumé et fait aussi penser à un whisky écossais. Splendide rhum blanc, mon coup de cœur de la série sans aucun doute."

"Kenne die Chemie deines Hampden-Rums! Das 8-Marks-Set ist sehr informativ und lehrreich. Das C<>H Mark besteht hauptsächlich aus Butyrate- und Capr-Estern, also volle Ladung saure Früchte, rote Beeren, Kokos und kandierte Früchte. Auch etwas buttriges oder sahniges findet sich an der Nase. Im Mund süß und kandierte Früchte, wobei ein stets überreifes, vergorenes und buttriges Aroma zurückbleibt."
