„A lovely, well-crafted Depaz. The nose is very fruity (exotic fruit, dried fruit and citrus), combining well with the sweetness of spices, delicate toasted notes, the finesse of wood and the freshness of sugarcane. On the palate, the attack is a little drier and firmer, with notes of agricultural greenery, dried fruit, warmer spices and a touch of cocoa on the wood. The finish, of good length, is even warmer and drier, with a certain bitterness. The fruity, woody and spicy notes are released and give a lovely roundness. A very fine Depaz, sophisticated, elegant, colorful and available at a very reasonable price.“

„This rum reminds me a lot of Saint James' Ephemeral 1, diluted. Which is a very good thing. I prefer it to the recently released bruts de fût, which I find too woody for my taste, and it has great length on the palate.“
