It was distilled in 2004 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 18 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 52,9%. This is a limited release and there are only 305 bottles.

“Eine weitere belanglose Abfüllung von CDI. Gut trinkbar, aber halt nicht mehr. Etwas Kräuter, etwas Süße. Im Ergebnis wie Vielfruchtmarmelade: von allem etwas, aber nichts Gescheites dabei. Alkohol gut eingebunden. Sample reicht.”

“Qualitativ kein schlechter Rum, aber für Savanna Verhältnisse auch etwas langweilig. Bisschen Frucht, bisschen Kräuter, bisschen Gewürze. Insgesamt wenig Tiefe. Gibt halt deutlich Besseres von denen.”
