The air brightens with waxy sugar cane juice, ripe banana and rubber, tobacco, as it becomes darker, roasted with some smoke and candied fruits, chocolate, marzipan or almond. There is little spiciness when well rested and floral notes, as it is nicely rounded. 8,5:On the palate, the attack is fruity and briny with yellow and dried fruits, becomes a bit smoky and chocolaty, then spicy. The sugar cane is tasty, a bit mineral and waxy, as ripe banana joins.The wood comes noticeable and tannic. Rest brings out a green apple and menthol, then mint and some tobacco, as the rhum is dry now. After a while, the palate goes into the red fruits, as currants and roasted notes with pastries.
