    How does this rum taste?

The "Panama (Bottled for Premium Spirits)" rum, bottled by Compagnie des Indes, is a 13-year-old limited edition Panamanian spirit distilled from molasses in a column still. Brimming with robust alcoholic, spicy, and chocolate notes, it embodies a classic, albeit slightly challenging, profile. The rum's aroma presents a metallic hint alongside vanilla and milk chocolate nuances, while its taste follows with woody and licorice undertones. User reviews highlight its dominant alcoholic and spicy elements, with some finding the high ABV overpowering. While it features intriguing chocolatey dimensions, the integration of flavors might seem unbalanced to some, making it a bold yet polarizing choice for aficionados.

This has a rather good nose, of some intense, even if sligthly faulty Demerara. The alcohol helps a lot. But on the palate this then fails completely like an uber bordered cask and at the end just muff and sugar
