How does this rum taste?
RumX members love the Madeira finish adding sweet-wine depth to vibrant molasses fruit. Expect raisin and a hint of port on the nose, unfolding to dried apricot, young wood and a subtle saline touch. Despite 56.6% cask strength, the alcohol integration is praised. With 10 reviews and only 407 bottles, this Berry Bros & Rudd single cask was “eine DER Überraschungen” for Dominican rum skeptics.

Nice solid dom rep with Madeira wine finish. Dried apricots, brine, raisins, sulphur, some honey and popcorn. Alcohol well integrated, Madeira finish binds well and brings an extra complexity.
This bottling was one of the surprises in last year's Advent calendar. Who until now rums from the DomRep alone with bottlings of eg.
