Overall a great and well balanced Agricole. The Carrere distillery in Guadeloupe has started a release of a collection of Agricole’s that’s finished in different casks. Right now I have seen six different releases, but just two have reached Europe so far. This one is distilled in 2015, aged for almost 7 years before finished during 188 days in barrels from the Menhirs distillery previously contained Breton whiskey and thereafter bottled in just 2240 numbered bottles. I’m looking forward to taste the following releases in the La Rencontre series.
