The "Brut de Fût" was produced in Marie Galante at the Bielle distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler V&B. It was distilled in 2011 from Sugar cane juice with a Creole Column and then aged for 11 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 53,3%. This is a limited release and there are only 342 bottles.

“Le fût de Sauternes a bien marqué le rhum. Peut être un peu trop à mon goût, ce qui le déséquilibre. Assez peu boisée pour l'âge.”

“👃Au nez on prend beaucoup l'alcool malgré une bonne aération. Puis viennent les épices et du boisé. 👄En bouche, on prend également l'alcool en premier, des notes de fruits confits viennent ensuite puis on retrouve le boisé. 🔚La finale est moyenne.”
