Taste notes feature prominent estery, vegetal, and caramel flavors accompanied by pineapple undertones. Despite mixed reactions, the rum is praised for its unique combination of high ester Jamaica and Guadeloupe styles. Limited to only four bottles, it's a collector's item that piques connoisseur interest with its intriguing profile. Ideal for experienced rum enthusiasts exploring unique blends and complex flavor palettes, though its high alcohol content may deter some.

"gelungener WP WPE / Guadeloupe blend.
"I can clearly see how this was a considerable challenge to pin point in the blind tastings araound Christmas. Only knowing about the components I can identify the distinct WP banana notes on the nose. Very funky and intense. On the palate it becomes noticeable how much work the small oak cask did. Despite the short aging time, there are plenty of vanilla notes present with edges nicely rounded out. I think this was bottled at just about the right time. Well executed and interesting experiment indeed."
