The "Heavy Trinidad Rum (Eataly) HTR" was produced in Trinidad at the Caroni distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Velier. It was distilled in 2000 from Molasses and then aged for 17 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 68,4% and the mark is HTR. This is a limited release and there are only 242 bottles. 14 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.9/10. The rum smells like Tar, Leather and Rubber, and on the palate there is Tar, Butterscotch and Salty.

14.03.2020 Had a nice afternoon and evening with friends. Notes. Beautiful colour and curtains in the glass. Nlse: wood, roasted, dried fruit, spice, rubber, tar. Palate: oily, spicy, medium dry, rubber, wood, roasted, tar, orange. Finish: long and warm, light smoke, wood, rubber, chocolate.
Excellent nose! Spicy, intense and dark. Very well integrated alcohol on the palate. A tad too dry for a top rating.
