“Il s'agit d'un pur jus de canne en brut de colonne avec un repos en cuve de 9 mois (ce qui est long et tant mieux) et une fermentation courte de 2 jours (normal pour un pur jus de canne). 6500 cols ont été produits. 👃 : La toute 1ere fois que j'ai mis mon pif à proximité du goulot, j'ai eu l'olive verte qui m'a interpellé. S'en sont suivis des notes fraîches de canne à sucre, d'anis, citron vert, mais aussi des notes iodées légèrement salées. Le nez est très accessible et à l'aveugle je n'aurais pas deviné les 68.7 degrés d'alcool. Bouche : là par contre on sent la cavalerie arriver avec des notes épicées presque pimentées bien contrebalancées par... Bcp de choses en réalité. J'ai du y revenir plusieurs fois tellement les arômes sont intenses et variés. Tout d'abord bcp de fraîcheur avec des notes végétales et terreuses puis le bâton de réglisse et la sucrosité decla canne reviennent en force. La finale est longue, légèrement poivrée, sucrée puis au final végétale avec un léger goût de... Radis blanc. Au moment où j'ai écris ça je me suis dis "t'es c.. ou quoi ? Le radis blanc ? Mais je persiste et je signe. Au final nous avons un rhum au nez plutôt classique, bien fait mais sans grande surprise et bluffant pour son degré d'alcool En bouche on a qqch de plus costaud, de plus funky avec un superbe équilibre alcool/gourmandise. Au final ce créol straight est très réussi et nul doute qu'en cocktail il saura se mettre en valeur.”
