“A tick better than the KFM of the Flensburg Rum Company (RX7441), aged 2 years shorter. A little fruitier, a little oilier, a little stronger (but also higher ABV). There aren't many '91 KFMs, but they're just almost universally high quality, though by no means inexpensive. Thanks to Dom for the sample.”

“I got this sample on Friday and decided to save it for today, which for me is really hard when there's a chance of a great experience. The bottle is not cheap but worth every penny. From pouring the sample into the glass you get tho most wonderful flavours and as it matures in the glass it only gets better. The wood is heavy on this one and the roasted notes are also very present, but it's really well integrated with the other elements and so is the ABV. An intense and very well balanced release with a wonderful oily texture on the palate. The curtains in the glass are awesome! Unfortunately I used my budget for the rest of the year and January as well so I hope a bottle will still be awailable when my wallet is ready 😊 Empty glass has tar and chocolate.”
