"Not what I expected for a rhum agricole. It hits you with a lot of caramel and wood on nose with both being carried into the palate. The impact of the age is very evident on this rum with wood and spice throughout. The finish is medium with wood, spice, and vanilla"

"Very dominant whisky notes on the nose, which initially steal the show from the rum profile. The longer it remains in the glass, the more the original distillate comes to the fore. A similar picture on the palate, the peated whisky is very dominant. Q"

"The nose is too smoky for my liking. The palate is also too smoky and too turned. Probably for an Islay lover."
