“This is a rum which was finished in 5 different casks. First finish is done in American oak bourbon casks and then 18 months in 4 different sherry casks; Fino, Pedro Ximinez, Cream and Palo Cortado. A very nice long velvety finish.”

“So, the third Don Papa and then it's enough! Clear, clearly sherry on the nose. Slightly sulfured, artificial grape and cherry. Also something spicy smoky woody, direction cherry wood I like to hear. Then clearly caramel and burnt sugar. On the palate, the sherry comes first, with something toasty and woody. But it can't hide the origin (artificial orange-vanilla sugar water). A bit more towards cherry, but thin and too sweet at the back. Don Papa is and remains for me the lowest level. Bad spirit but with super marketing.”
