Infinity Spirits Bellevue The Royal Cane Cask Company Guadeloupe 1998
Highly praised 1998 Bellevue: creamy, wood-driven and fruity with minty, herbal twists. Smooth for its strength, complex and unique, though some find it a bit thin or polarizing on the nose.
Enthusiasts of aged continental Bellevue and Guadeloupe rums who enjoy wood-driven, citrusy profiles with herbal mint/menthol nuances and want a contemplative neat or rocks sipper.

How does this rum taste?
Unique, creamy Bellevue 1998 sipper
If you already enjoy 1998 Bellevue or mature continental rums, this keeps the recognizable profile but adds extra wood, marmalade and herbal complexity at a very drinkable cask strength.
Beginners, those sensitive to 51.5% ABV, or drinkers who dislike slightly bitter, woody notes, polarizing aromas or paying a premium versus other 1998 Bellevue releases.

On The Rocks: On the nose has a mild fruit and floral notes with some sweetness with oak/earthy undertones. Taste is well balanced and very smooth with fruit, floral and sweetness evolving into underlying mint and menthol with am oaky warmth. Finish is long and smooth with continuing mint and fruit flavours with a last warmth. The mint and menthol starts to get a little stronger in the finish as it keeps going on and on before fading away. Such a beautiful complex rum that is incredibly unique and special.
Very very good Bellevue. Thick and herbal/spices.
The taste has a buttery mouthfeel, wood, citrus, orange blossom, rich molasses. An extremely lovely Rome
Guadeloupe 1998 Bellevue I had now already some but none like this: reminds me but actually of the old Courcelles from 1972 by this blatant strawberry jam and bitter orange jam note, which is rounded off by some wood, leather, vanilla, ginger and minimal orange flower water and menthol / mint and slightly bitter black tea. Very awesome and very elegant and especially unusual for this vintage! I really like it and better and better the more I drink it....
