"Super rum in my opinion. Light caramel and vanilla notes. This rum tastes very strong, still has something of it in the mouth for a very long time, but meets my taste quite well. I hereby give it a recommendation to buy."

"Zacapa is Zacapa. The juice is ultra-caramelized, with notes of burnt toast, brown and burnt sugar and sweet spices (vanilla). The profile is just as typical and concentrated as previous editions. The attack on the palate is almost syrupy, with notes of caramel syrup and burnt, concentrated sugar. The charred barrel recalls the woody, roasted and spicy notes, to give a dark profile that is accentuated by the raisins (like currants). The alcohol is drowned out by the liquid sugar. The finish is short, unsurprising and in the same dark, sweet, spicy register. There's nothing more to take from it. A light, ephemeral rum with no apparent complexity, which will delight rum "connoisseurs" and also go well with crêpes."

"#4424 Whisky & Rom Festival 2023 28.10.2023 Notes. Sweet and well balanced, berries and nuts, but like the predecessors nothing I'd buy for my shelves."
