How does this rum taste?
- Complex aromatic profile
- Vibrant fruit and floral nose
- Rich sugarcane taste
The HSE Blanc Cuvée by Christian De Montaguère is a special release crafted in Martinique at Distillerie du Simon. This unaged agricole rhum offers a robust 55% ABV, boasting vibrant fruity, citrus, and floral notes both on the nose and palate. Limited to only 3000 bottles, connoisseurs will appreciate its complex interplay between sugarcane freshness and vegetal, tea-like undertones, completed by a peppery finish. While noted for its excellent balance and aromatic expressiveness, some find it a bit challenging due to its bold character. Ideal for those savoring full-bodied rums, it adds depth to cocktails like the classic ti' punch.

"#4559 19.01.2024 Got a set of samples from a former colleague in Sweden and today I'll give them a go. My tastebuds are still hyper sensitive, which can be both good and bad. The last one before a short break in the tasting. This one has slightly less fruit to it than the previous one. The floral note is really nice in the profile. The palate is medium dry and and fresh with a light tea note. The finish is medium long and has light citrus to it. The empty glass has a light peppery note i can't put my finger on."
"Great white rhum with light fruit and yeast."
