"Spicy Clarendon. The nose is even better than the taste. Nice fruity and somewhat floral nose... little wood. In the mouth very immature and alcoholic. Quite ok but nothing that I personally need."
"Extremely intense clarendon and to my knowledge one of the first tropically matured 2007s. Personally, it's definitely too fresh, woody and bitter for me, but I'm sure there will be fans out there! The alcohol is perfectly integrated and, above all, it doesn't have the cheesy note of the cave guildive's sister cask at cask strength... But leather polish to the power of 10! Tastes extremely intensely of menthol, almost as if you were pulling spearmints through your nose and drinking some wood polish with it🤣 Nice light tropical fruit notes and a very fresh, bitter and spicy finish."
"Bellamy tasting. A dark rum with a nose of menthol and polish, followed by yellow fruits. There's also a marked vegetal aspect. The palate, too, is marked by menthol and even eucalyptus, giving it freshness. A taste of unripe papaya, roast and tannins. The finish is long, with plenty of freshness, wood and fruit. A very fine rum marked by menthol, but fortunately with many other aromas. I feel transported to a summit, to an island, watching the sunrise with lots of wild mint all around and in the freshness of the early morning. Just great!"
"Classic Clarendon notes with lots of wood on the palate and finish."
