A venerable rum from the 60s with a rather serious ABV (75%). The nose is of cut grass, marzipan and varnished wood. The palate is surprisingly smooth for 75%, the aromas not very deep but clearly pleasant. The finish is short, on pastry and marzipan.
A really interesting molasses based Rhum that really gives an opportunity to feel the Martinique of yesteryear.
