How does this rum taste?
- Rich tropical fruit profile
- Well-integrated alcohol
- Complex nose
Private Garden No.2 is a noteworthy Jamaican rum produced by Worthy Park and bottled by Swell de Spirits. Distilled in 2007, this limited edition rum has been aged for 15 years, offering a bold 60.2% cask strength experience. Users appreciate its intriguing blend of tropical fruit aromas like banana and pineapple, combined with vanilla, woody, and caramel notes. The palate is dominated by a citrus-forward taste, complemented with roasted and vanilla undertones, making it a creamy, dry sipper. While many commend its complexity and balance, some note the woodiness can overshadow typical Jamaican fruitiness.

"On the nose, I would be more likely to be blind to a cognac than a rum - let alone a Worthy Park. On the palate, the rum profile becomes clearer, but the typical cognac fruit flavors are still quite present. A very exciting bottling on the border between cognac and heavy, aromatically complex rums, which surprises me in a positive way."
"#4068 Looking at the price tag you get a lot for your money with this release. A fresh and fruity rum with nice spices ans a well balanced palate. The palate is lightly dry and naturally sweet with nice caramel and a light floral note. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass is nice and I can pick up some chocolate and coffee notes."
"Wow, one of the best Worthy Parks I've had in the glass so far. Great harmony of tropical fruit and a nice spice from the wood influence. The palate is intense, creamy and pleasantly dry. Absolute recommendation!"
