“Above average Spanish style rum. The alcohol is not ideally integrated and bites a little. On the palate, an interesting combination of chocolate and salt. Nice, but I personally lack the depth and creaminess.”

“auch nach längerer Standzeit eher verhalten an der Nase. Ich mache Piment, junges Holz, Vanille, ein wenig Toffee und leichte grüne (vegetabile) Noten aus. Am Gaumen Fass, würzige Noten, Schokolade. Angesichts der hohen Erwartungen aber doch nur Durchschnitt. Da gefallen mir manche Oliver&Oliver Abfüllungen aus der DomRep (wie der Ron Esclavo XO, Cubaney Centenario oder Tres Hombres) besser.”

“Ein klassischer spanischer Stil von mittelmäßiger Qualität! Der Alkohol ist nicht sehr gut eingebunden, am Gaumen kommt er dennoch leicht und dünn daher… es fehlt ihm an Tiefe und Komplexität Da gibt es deutlich bessere, obwohl mich dieser Rum-Stil bislang nicht überzeugen konnte”
