South Pacific S.B.S Fiji 2004
Most enjoy the coconut‑caramel profile, oily texture and long finish. Critics find the nose thin, alcohol too hot and Fiji funk missing. Consensus: solid, interesting but not top‑tier Fiji.
Experienced sippers who enjoy high‑ABV, Spanish‑style leaning rums with coconut, caramel and vanilla, and Fiji fans curious about a cleaner, less funky take from South Pacific Distillery.

How does this rum taste?
Hot, coconut-heavy, untypical Fiji
If you like potent but relatively clean, coconut‑driven rums (think stronger Barbados/Guatemala), this is worth a look—just be ready to add water and not expect classic Fiji funk.
Beginners, anyone sensitive to alcohol heat, or funk‑seekers expecting dirty, estery Fiji character and perfectly integrated cask strength.
Even if this is not a typical Fiji rum, the quality of the rum is on a good level. However, connoisseurs looking for the classic Fiji profile should consider other bottlings.

Messeverkostung, daher knapper: Nase hat Schokolade, Kaffee und Kokos. Im Mund sehr dick, etwas ölig und fruchtiger. Sehr ausgewogen.
Surprisingly mild and oily for just under 69%. Aromatically, I would be blind to Barbados or Guatemala. But really tasty and felt eternal finish.
Even if this is not a typical Fiji rum, the quality of the rum is on a good level. However, connoisseurs looking for the classic Fiji profile should consider other bottlings.
Surprisingly good, I had to check twice to make sure I poured myself the correct sample. Blind I would have guessed this as a Worthy Park. Water is mandatory.
