“Un Diamond de type Enmore sympathique mais pas révolutionnaire. Le nez est chaleureux, fruité, épicé avec les notes d’anis et de réglisse typiques, un peu herbeux avec des notes de thé et un peu sucré avec des notes de sucre Demerara très douces et subtiles. L’attaque en bouche est douce et légère. L’alcool est bien intégré. Les pruneaux, l’anis, la réglisse, le tabac et les notes florales agrémentent un profil rond, huileux et gouleyant. On ressent également des notes de mélasse presque collantes au palais. C’est bon mais pas non plus transcendant. La finale est de longueur correcte. Elle est accompagnée de toffee, de noix, de fruits secs, de bois, de café, de chocolat et de saveurs toastées. Un rhum bien structuré mais assez classique pour un Enmore, dont on pourrait attendre plus étant donné son vieillissement relativement long.”
