“Intensiver und vielschichtiger, klar zu erkennender PM. Nase: der Alkohol ist etwas beißend zu Beginn und erinnert an Lösungsmittel. Hat sich die Nase daran gewöhnt, kommt eine sehr schöne, frische und intensive Zitrusnote durch. Hier treffen süßlich-saure Zitrone und Limette zusammen. Erinnert mich dabei an Spüli, aber an ein Gutes ☺️. Hinter der Frische kommt etwas Honig hinzu. Gefällt mir gut. 8,3 Gaumen: typisch PM, wenig Frucht aber dafür kräftig, würzig und bitter. Salziger Antritt mit schwarzem Pfeffer, etwas Muskat und bitterer Zitronenschale. Wirkt hart und verbrannt. Dahinter wird er etwas zarter und für etwas süßere Seite der Zitrone kommt durch. Im doch recht kurzen Abgang noch etwas Grüntee. Kann was. 7,9”

“Overall, a surprisingly powerful and complex Guyana port mourant considering its young age! I especially like the buttery spicy notes of peach, mirabelle, bitter orange and salted brioche and some bitter licorice and nutmeg. In terms of continental aged Guyana rums one of the best I had tasted to date.... Even if I am altogether more fan of tropical maturation!”
