To Uitvlugt (Port Mourant)
"Port Mourant mit richtig schönem, intensiven Sherry-Finish. Salziges Erdnussbutter kommt dazu. Nichts für jeden Geschmack, mir gefällst aber richtig gut!"
"Typical, continental aged Port Mourant. Very complex. A rum for the head, not for the heart."
"This is a very intense and dry rum from this bottler. Not in a bad way, but a nice change from the other rums. A fruity nose with a hint of metal and spices. The palate is semi complex but very intense with fruits, wood and a spicy warm feeling. The finish is very long and warm with spices and oak to top it off. Not the best from this bottler, but still pretty good. "
"Unfortunately, quite disappointing. Strong sulfur note, which overlays the overall picture and takes the rum in my eyes much of the potential charm of a Demerara matured in sweet wine barrels. Too bad."
