A.F.D. S.B.S Dominican Republic 2006
Most enjoy its intense cocoa, coffee and oak at strong ABV. Critics find the alcohol a bit sharp and the profile narrow. Overall seen as a solid, characterful dry Dominican.
Fans of dry, dark-chocolate and coffee-forward rums who like a firm 59% ABV and want an unsweetened, characterful Dominican beyond the usual soft, dosed styles.

Quite a decent dram, I have been expecting less. But what’re is mandatory.
Can I give a rum 80 points because I find him just delicious ? - I just do it times :PDThe DomRep here is a delicious Spaniard with beautiful cocoa and coffee notes.not particularly complex, but very intense and tastes me with its ABV just super good to wegsippen.
Nice notes of dark chocolate. I liked it!
01.11.2019 Den Dansk Rom & Whiskyfestival This was my first visit to this two day event, where everything is included in the ticket. Also the first event where I have seen so many extremely drunk people. This event usually just has what's considered mainstream products, but luckily my friend had the right contacts so for a premium we had our own little collection to go through. Today I get free a free ticket if I want to attend 😊 Not too bad a rum especially thinking about the price tag. Lightly fruity with nice caramel and chocolate. The palate is oily with nice coffee notes. The finish is medium to long and spicy. ABV could have been better integrated.
