“Une superbe sélection de Plantation par la Cuvée des Addicts. Au nez c’est une véritable claque olfactive. Le funk jamaïcain frappe de plein fouet avec ses notes d’esters, de solvants, de vernis à ongles et de colle, mais est vite rattrapé par une corbeille de fruits exotiques mûrs (banane, ananas, mangue, papaye, cerise aigre, citron vert, orange) qui embaument les narines. Puis, des notes empyreumatiques (fumé) et carnées (viande) se manifestent avec une pointe épicée et des touches sur l’umami, l’olive et le boisé. Quelques notes subtiles de massepain confèrent un peu de douceur à ce profil aussi intense que généreux. L’attaque en bouche est succulente. On y retrouve les fruits exotiques et les agrumes, l’olive, les épices chaudes, le boisé et le cuir. À mesure que la dégustation avance, des notes empyreumatiques et de viande fumée font leur retour avec une touche saline et umami très agréable. Les tanins et le funk phénoliques parachèvent un Hampden très abouti et structuré, hétéroclite mais qui maîtrise son sujet. L’alcool est parfaitement intégré. La finale s’étire à l’infini entre les fruits, le fumé, le boisé, le côté salin, épicé et phénolique, avec un soupçon de caramel. La finale pourrait presque se mastiquer. Un Hampden de grande classe, complet, équilibré et délicieux. Le rapport qualité / prix de cette cuvée était démentiel à sa sortie, dommage qu’il soit victime de son succès.”

“Was für eine Granate. Wunderbar Fruchtig ...Mango,Annas Papaya ,Banane etwas Walderdbeere und Klebstoff. Hier erkennt man wiedermal schön dir Tropische Reifung... Herrlich kein bisschen bissig in der Nase. Leicht ölig am Gaumen hier kommt jetzt auch eine Kannte Holz mit alles schön im Einklang und Harmonie. Ein absoluter Spitzen Tropfen zum unglaublichen Preis . Toll hier dabei sein zu können.”
