This one was a retasting for me as I tried it at the Wild Series Release tasting at whisky.dk and I still love it. This is a very nice release and I think it's a bit sad you have to buy the set to get one. Complex and well balanced with near perfect alcohol integration. I was lucky enough to sneak in a second sample to bring home 😉
Verkostet auf der Pueblo del Ron Nürnberg 2024. Zusammen mit Gunnar als seinen letzten Rum auf der Messe probiert. Danke auch hier erstmal an die Jungs von RdL, die den Dram ausgegeben haben. Anfangs hat er mir gar nicht so geschmeckt. Aber je länger er im Glas war und man sich verquatscht hatte, umso besser fande ich ihn. Definitiv braucht er viel Zeit, dann entfaltet er sein können.
Exciting rum! I don't know the Mark MEE. In terms of taste, I'm relatively clear on Uitvlugt, even though this is actually a Savalle style. Reminds me of the Mezan Uitvlugt, for example.
