"Got this sample for free from RumX. It’s a pot still Clarendon MMW distilled in 1997 whereafter it’s continentally aged for 24 years in an ex-rum oak barrel before bottled in 192 bottles at 49,2%. Overall a very round and smooth rum with lots of orange taste." - 8.0/10

"Second tasting: better and not as light as I remembered. Since one must not be deceived by the pale color. 1First, the pale color amazes, for about 24 years in the barrel has not colored much.On the nose, however, there is no surprise: fine fruit esters stream towards me.On the palate much more intense, sweet, spicy, woody and dry.The finish is quite short and dry. After a break, the fruit esters flash again. These light Clarendons do not really fit into my Beuteschema 😉" - 8.5/10

"I find the 97 Monymusk very good. This is already significantly diluted, but thereby a quasi easy sipper. I like it really well!" - 8.5/10
