“Fresh tropical fruits, subtle sweetness, light sweetness - in the nose, first of all, a quite appealing, if not very exciting profile. Compared to the young PMs, the appearance on the palate is much more pleasing - altogether rounder with more measured alcohol. Again, basically recognizable spiciness, but much more balanced than in the Sample X parallel release of the nine-year-old PM. Slight sweetness, a bit of vanilla, plus some tart bitter notes - but all in all more balanced than the other releases. But the bottom line remains the same - Demeraras seem to benefit from more intensive aging, be it with longer aging in continental warehouses or directly in tropical temperatures.”

“Pretty forward yet good Albion. More funky than expected, will lessen after a while. Lemony, dry, chamomille tea. It's a bit of a challenge but hang in there. Good stuff but also a bottle for the geeky fans.”
