"Good god is that thing sweet. Like really sweet. A typical DomRep Rum but especially on the palate with a sugariness like pure crsytaline sugar. I am completely sure that has its fans. But really this one gives me an reaction to its sugar content. Not my style at all..."

The concentration of the molasses distillate offers a certain licorice, anise freshness, with almost menthol accents-like tooth paste scent, then come notes of coffee, leather and vanilla.Aeration changes the structure, the molasses has retained the licorice and sometimes medicinal notes, some caraway seeds come as well, by roasted spices, herbs. 8:On the palate rum is powerful, very round. The vegetal and resinous notes become delicious, like molasses candy with spices. Roasted nuts are tasty, with pecans leading the way, and they open the way to prunes, candied berries. There are notes of leather. The caramelization aromas become more powerful in the middle and end of the mouth. 7,3:The finish is round and caramelized with intense, well-cooked and sticky molasses. Added sugar cane does well in roundedness and thickness."
