"Blend Marie Galante/Barbade aged for a fairly short time in 7 different casks. Pleasant to drink, there's a little complexity between the spices of the agricultural and the dried fruit and chocolate of the Barbados. The oak is present but not overpowering."

"Bielle notes at the beginning, but very fresh. Could do with longer storage. I can't really taste any foursquare."

"Blend 1/3 bielle blanc, 2/3 Foursquare 3 years old. The blend is aged for 1 year in 7 different small wooden casks (acacia, mahogany, minuzara, amburana, French, American and black oak). Bottled at 49%. The result is an inevitably complex, yet balanced rum. Surprisingly, it smells more of bielle than Foursquare. The first impression on the nose is of wood, followed by freshness and fruit once oxidized. On the palate, it's the other way round: fruit first, then woody aromas continue through to the rather medium finish. For the price, it's a fine piece of work!"

"Difficult to decipher blindly. But after knowing the composition, I think it's very well thought out. You can smell the coconut and vanilla typical of Barbados, but with the dryness of pure juice."
