“Un Clément mono-variétal (canne bleue) vieilli 4 ans, dont le profil a du mal à ressortir pleinement. Les fruits secs et les épices apparaissent comme les grands vainqueurs d’un nez assez timide. Malgré une canne à sucre des plus réputées, son influence se perd un peu dans les méandres épicées du fût. En bouche, on retrouve un rhum typique, jonglant entre la canne à sucre, les notes fruitées plus marquées et les épices toujours aussi virevoltantes. L’ensemble est doux mais manque de complexité. La finale, de longueur correcte, propose le même registre aromatique sur la douceur avec des notes traditionnelles sur la canne, les fruits et les épices. Un rhum assez classique dans l’ensemble et qui peine à se distinguer des innombrables cuvées de rhum agricole. On pouvait s’attendre à bien plus de la part de cette cuvée. À noter que les différents batchs existants peuvent varier en qualité et dans les arômes.”

“#4435 Whisky & Rom Festival 2023 28.10.2023 Notes. Very nice and well balanced release. Medium fruity and fresh with nice Agricole notes. I had a long talk with the woman representing Clement and got access to these for free where others had to pay 😊”
