A great savanna grand arome. Low abv do not impairs quality. Vinyl, glue and esters are common traits. On the nose, cognac cask is noticeable with some dark and floral notes, drink side baked apple and spices add to the profile. A great rum
09.08.2019 Tasting with the usual suspects and our own bottles. Notes Medium dark in colour. Palate Intense, fresh, light roasted wood, ester, light caramel, fruity, light medicinal, anise, faint glue. Palate Intense, fresh, light roasted wood, ester, light medicinal, anise, herbs, light citrus, light glue. Finish Very long and warm, wood, medium dry, fruits, light caramel, faint chocolate, faint smoke.
Manque juste de peps sinon c'est un bonbon très très gourmand !!
The nose is typical of Savanna (recognized in blind), greedy and juicy. But the palate is surprising. Behind the usual ester jam, a very pronounced note of solvent, turpentine, takes up space. Too much space. It's too unbalanced to be totally convincing.
