"A very barrel-forward, bourbonlike rum. There’s a nice, rich spice to it that pairs well with the sweeter flavors (reminds me a bit of some holiday cookies), and the oak—while on the heavier side—isn’t overwhelming. Unfortunately the finish falls short, hot, and a little tannic, but overall it’s still a solid rum."
