“Second tasting: nice complex PM (+1) The nose reveals Port Mourant. This profile always makes me think of whisky (Highlands in this case). The alcohol tweaks and I'm also reminded of aged grappa. More intense on the palate than the nose suggests and surprisingly sweet. The finish is long, salty and dry as dust. It goes back in the direction of whisky, but this time smoky. The rum is definitely good and expressive but the PM profile is not for me.”

“I had expected a bit more from this release because of its age. I got a bit disappointed because the balance is not fully there and the ABV could have been better integrated. Still it's an intense profile (wood) and I like the nutts on the palate.”
